THE IONIAN is a leading, glossy, English language, travel, yachting and lifestyle magazine for the Ionian, Greece. Launched in March of 2010 it has been growing quickly in popularity and distribution. Our subscription list is growing and more people follow us online. Our mission is to promote tourism and yachting in the Ionian, while serving as a platform for environment and culture appreciation and protection.

If you would like to advertise your business, this is the time and THE IONIAN is the place. With your pre-paid ad, you receive a business link in The Ionian Business Directory and your business location is placed on our Google map. In addition, every month's ads are published on our Featured Businesses page of the website. You can also have your special public events added to our online Calendar. Deadline for print advertising is the 10th of each month prior to publication.

Note: Please check your ad online as soon as it appears. We try to post it as soon as your order comes in or at the latest when your payment is received. This way we can correct any errors and omissions before it goes to the printer. Thank you. 

This year, we have published a special winter issue which was sent to the London Boat Show. We also have plans for a printed business directory.

The Ionian is distributed free of charge to customers throughout the Ionian islands and the adjacent coastline areas at marinas, boat yards, chandlers, boat services, travel and tourism offices, bars, cafes, tavernas, hotels, shops, and on board boats sailing in the area. 

Please let us know if you would like to be one of our distribution points. We are also beginning to supply International News Stands with copies of The Ionian. At this time the International News Stands in Nidri, Lefkas  and Preveza have extra copies.

CIRCULATION: 
In 2010, over 7,000 copies of The Ionian were distributed with total readership of the magazine estimated at over 15,000 with more reading the PDF version online. In 2011 we distributed 8,500 copies. Our website readership between January and end of December 2011 has been over 45,000 page hits. This is an average of over 3,500 page hits per month. Our readers reach us from Europe, North America, Asia, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
